The Audio-Technica M50x is what I have always been looking for in a headphone, but never found in my years of using sennheisers.

Before finding the AT M50x, headphones fell into two camps: Ones that sounded good in a misleading way (Sony MDRs, AKG 240s) and ones that were analytical, but also, not remotely fun to listen with (Sennheiser).

The AT model was the first that sounded good like speakers, but also, showed the information correctly. Think a Sony MDR, but accurate, and with way better sonic quality.

I stopped looking at headphones after finding these things. They rule. With one caveat: the retaining clip on the ear cup seems to break, allowing the ear cup to move outwards in angle. Right now, mine seems to break around every three years. At that point, you can replace the holder clip for $30, or 3d print one without a hinge. Still, they are an amazing headphone.
