I love the 160a. I hate the 160 and especially 162.
Reason? The 160 does weird shit around 5-6k. The 162 seems like a great idea for stereo buss, or overheads. But, like the 160 of which it is the stereo version of, it does weird shit around 5-6k. A smeary-ness. And a weird presence that makes me feel like I’m sucking on a nickel. ehhhhh….

So fuck this thing. Fuck the hell out of it. I’m sure it’s great for some musical style on some instrument, but for me, completely fucking useless.
