This is, without a doubt, one of the BEST audio interfaces available for the price. And not really even so much for the price.

Is it great? No. but it is decent. And you can make good recordings with it.

Downsides? It only has two channels, and it doesn’t have any expansion capability. But if you are a solo artist and don’t need midi, or an ADAT in for more channels, or more channels in general, it will work well.

Does it sound as good as other interfaces at the same price? Yes. And with the 4k button, it probably sounds better.

And the D/A converter is damn decent, and headphone amp is very decent, so whatever you mix off this, will probably translate well, atleast as far as the D/A circuitry is concerned.

And its fairly rugged. I’ve tossed this thing a backpack and gone many places to record, and it hasn’t had any issues.

Overall, a great interface, and especially good for the price.
