The 80s, the audio market was saturated with big rack systems aimed squarely at consumer audio. These systems were sold like TVs, IE, they could be expensive, and were viewed as an investment. Accordingly, some actually GOOD speakers were made. I didn’t realize this until listening to some of them first hand. And these speakers, are perhaps the greatest I have ever experienced from that period.

All audio snobbery aside: These are fucking great speakers.

Yes, the cabinet is fibreboard. Yeah, they have the aesthetic appeal of a brick, or a wooden box.

But mother fucker they sound great.

Articulate high end, great midrange, and amazing bass.

Blew my mind.
