If you need to transfer 4-track cassettes, and can find one of these, Oh.. My… God…
1. Individual Outputs for each track
2. Adjustable tape speed and selectable High And Low Tape Speed
3. DBX onboard
4. Decent Sound
5. Built pretty damn well
I happened to find one of these in very good condition, and located IN JAPAN, and oh my, it was one of the nicer machines I’ve ever encountered. I know this all sounds silly for a 4-track tape machine from the 1980s/90s, but there was just SOMETHING about it. Maybe my perception was all skewed, from the nice packing job, the included note on stationary, the included photograph of a Temple nearby to the seller. But the whole thing just felt and acted amazing. Even if you DID have to push the transport buttons a bit hard to get them to work.
